Lucy Y Los Compadres Panaderia/Taqueria/Carniceria in Texas

"I came here for the first time to try their menudo since I read online this is one of the best places in Baytown to get Menudo tell me the was all right it could have been a little more spicy but it was fine the texture of it was great the flavor of it was good I just need to add some oregano to make it taste a little bit better but other than that I was very impressed with it I also had a Barbacoa Taco which was very good so I have this tendency of now understanding that any meat market that's part restaurant serves really good tacos and the menudo was incredible the service was incredible they came by and picked up my place once I was done with anything the only hiccup I'm going to say is the tortillas are not freshly made their packaged I could tell by the taste and I guess my cashier forgot to charge me for them which to me is kind of bad because usually when you have a bowl of menudo that they give you some tortillas they wanted to charge me for those tortillas oh well the the place was kind of small but when people went in they would go in and they would eat and it was kept clean and it was good there were a lot of people there but they just ate and left the price I paid for this menudo and a taco was fair I mean it was around 20 plus dollars for a big bowl of menudo and a taco and a drink no complaints here the parking is kind of small so if it's super packed you're going to have to figure out a way to get around there"

"Good selection of food, drinks, Mexican pan dulce sweet bread. They also sell drinks like horchata, barbacoa is always 10/10 and the owners are super kind and sweet. Support your local mom and pop shops!"

"Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. The tacos and pan dulce are full of flavor. Great store and also has a carniceria attached. On the weekends they make chicharron & have menudo."

"Very good family business... over time this place has grown with more to offer. One thing I will say, price have gone up now, the breakfast tacos are a lot smaller then before to which (you don't get what you pay for)... "BUT" yes the food is good"
